The FIFA Club Challenge 2025 has entered a critical stage as the group phase intensifies, with top clubs like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Juventus, and Real Madrid asserting dominance across their respective groups. With a place in the Round of 16 at stake, the battle among elite clubs and rising contenders continues to attract global attention.

In Group A, Palmeiras of Brazil and Major League Soccer side Inter Miami are level on five points each after three games. Both teams are unbeaten, with one win and two draws apiece. Palmeiras lead the group on goal difference. FC Porto and Al Ahly trail with two points each and are yet to record a win, leaving their qualification hopes in jeopardy.

Group B has turned into a three-way tie, with PSG, Botafogo, and Atlético Madrid all sitting on six points after three matches. PSG lead the group with a +5 goal difference, followed closely by Botafogo and Atlético. Seattle Sounders are at the bottom of the table with no points and three straight defeats.

In Group C, Bayern Munich have completely dominated their opponents, winning both matches and scoring 12 goals while conceding just one. They sit on six points with a massive +11 goal difference. Benfica follow with four points from a win and a draw. Boca Juniors have one point while Auckland City have lost both matches, conceding 16 goals without reply.

Group D sees Flamengo leading with six points from two wins, while Chelsea and ES Tunis are tied on three points each. Los Angeles FC are yet to pick up a point after back-to-back defeats.

River Plate and Inter Milan are joint leaders in Group E, with four points each after two matches. Monterrey sit on two points after two draws, while Urawa Reds have yet to earn any points following consecutive losses.

Fluminense and Borussia Dortmund are tied at the top of Group F with four points apiece. Mamelodi Sundowns have three points while Ulsan HD remain without a point after two losses.

In Group G, Juventus and Manchester City are both perfect after two matches, with six points each. Juventus have scored nine goals and conceded one, while City have netted eight goals without conceding. Wydad Casablanca and Al Ain have both lost their opening matches and sit at the bottom of the group.

Real Madrid and Red Bull Salzburg top Group H with four points each. Madrid have a goal difference of +2, while Salzburg are close behind with +1. Al Hilal have two points from two draws, and Pachuca are yet to score a point after suffering two defeats.

With only the top two teams from each group progressing to the knockout stage, every game now carries added importance. The race to the Round of 16 is heating up as clubs fight for qualification in what has become a tightly contested global tournament.
