The leadership of the Edo State E-Sports Association (ESEA), led by its Chairman, Mr. Daro Dean Bezi, has paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission.

The purpose of the visit was to introduce the initiatives of the E-Sports Association, discuss potential collaborations, and explore ways to develop and promote e-sports as a viable and engaging sporting discipline within Edo State.

Hon. Enabulele warmly received the delegation and commended their efforts to grow e-sports in the state. He emphasized the importance of diversifying the sports sector to include emerging disciplines that resonate with the youth.

The Edo Sports Commission boss also reiterated the state government’s support for e-sports development and reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to fostering innovative sports programs that engage young people, help reduce social vices, and promote healthy competition.

The meeting concluded with a mutual pledge to work together to create structured opportunities for Edo youths in the rapidly expanding field of e-sports, positioning Edo State as a leader in digital and youth-centric sports development.
