Member representing Kokona East Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Ogazi, has urged elected representatives across Nigeria to take deliberate actions to implement impactful policies and programmes that will alleviate the hardship faced by citizens.

Ogazi made this call while distributing 21 motorcycles, 20 sewing machines, and ₦50,000 each as start-up support for beneficiaries in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area. He also presented a car gift to a prominent community leader as part of his empowerment initiative.

The lawmaker, who chairs the House Committee on Rules and Business, explained that the empowerment programme is part of his continuous commitment to enhancing the socio-economic well-being of the people of Kokona East.

He said, “I want to call on leaders in this country to initiate interventions that have a human face. By the special grace of God, I will continue to roll out good policies and programmes that will transform your lives for the better.

“You all know that I have impacted your lives through several intervention projects. I want to assure you that I will not relent in my efforts to put smiles on the faces of my constituents.”

Hon. Ogazi called on members of his constituency who have not yet benefited from his various infrastructure and intervention projects to remain patient, assuring them that he remains committed to touching every household in Kokona East before the end of his tenure.

Chairman of Kokona Local Government, Mr. Mek Agbawu, and his predecessor, Mr. Anwalu Adamu, who also serves as Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule, commended Ogazi for his unwavering dedication to grassroots development. They pledged their continued support to his people-focused programmes.

A beneficiary, Mr. Bako Maikarfi, Village Head of Sabon Gida, who received a car during the distribution exercise, praised Ogazi for his selfless service and consistent efforts to uplift the lives of his constituents.

Ogazi’s intervention aligns with his vision to promote sustainable community development, economic empowerment, and poverty alleviation in Kokona East, contributing to Nasarawa State’s broader development goals.
