Mike Sadoh who was declared the winner of the Okuokpellagbe Kingship Vacant stool contest which took place Saturday has been installed the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella .
He had secured the highest number of votes of 16 to beat several other contestants.
Chairman of the selection process , Chief Hanson Aimofumhe made the announcement at Ogute-Oke, Okpella, on May 10, 2025.
Shortly after he was declared winner of Okpella’s kinship election, Mike Sado underwent immediate traditional rites to ascend the throne as the Okuokpellagbe II of Okpella.
The coronation took place at the ancestral palace of his late grandfather, HRH Eramahe Iko Sado, a revered clan head who once ruled alongside the former district head, King Abdumalik Afegbua.
