Edo State Police Command has recovered a human skull from the residence of Ovbokhan Igbinovia Kelvin, the recently deposed community head (Ohen) of Okhoromi. Kelvin was relieved of his duties last week by the Benin monarch, His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare II.
According to SP Joel Yamu, the Police Public Relations Officer, Kelvin, 43, was arrested at his residence alongside four others: Osarodion Omoregie (41), Charles Otasowei (55), Edwin Igbinovia (45), and Osagie Igbinovia (44).
Recovered from the premises were multiple exhibits, including:
Two AK-47 rifles with breach numbers TH4782 and 6683
Two locally made single-barrel shotguns
Three empty AK-47 magazines
One OFM magazine
Eleven rounds of 7.62mm ammunition
A suspected human skull
SP Yamu confirmed that investigations are ongoing to locate additional arms and apprehend other fleeing suspects connected to the case.
