Wife of the Chairman and Founder of the Here For You Foundation, Mrs. Efechukwu Ehiwarior, has concluded a one-day medical outreach for residents of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The event featured free malaria tests and treatment, free eye tests, dispensing of corrective lenses, as well as diagnosis and treatment for various ailments.

In addition, free blood pressure and blood sugar level checks, treatment, physiotherapy care, and counselling sessions were also provided.

Speaking at the event, Council Chairman Mr. Jerry Ehiwarior praised his wife for the noble initiative, describing it as a positive engagement with far-reaching effects on the health and social wellbeing of the people.

“I want to thank my dear wife for embarking on this wonderful charity initiative that focuses on human capital development, empowering lives, and putting smiles on the faces of our people,” the Chairman stated.

Engr. Ehiwarior, while urging beneficiaries to adhere strictly to their medication, emphasized that good health is the greatest treasure anyone can possess.

Mrs. Ehiwarior disclosed that the idea to set up the Foundation was borne out of her strong desire to touch lives. She also expressed gratitude to the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, for what she described as “her exemplary leadership style and for charging us to toe the same path.
