Uromi gets New Police Station

A Police station which former deputy speaker of Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Maria Omozele Oligbi Edeko facilitated as part of her Constituency projects in Uromi is ready.

The Police Station is located inside the National Institute of Construction Technology & Management, Amedokhian, Uromi, Esan Northeast local government area.

Oligbi-Edeko, who represents Esan North-East Constituency II on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), recently resigned as deputy speaker voluntarily after her party attained minority status in the House.

She explained that she stepped down in the interest of fairness, justice, and equity, thanking the PDP leadership and members for their support and for trusting her with the responsibility of legislative service.
