Legendary Actor & Comedian Chika Okpala (Chief Zebrudaya Okoroigwe Nwogbo alias 4:30) Of “The New Masquerade” Is 75 Today.
He is popularly known as Chief Zebrudaya Okoroigwe Nwogbo alias 4:30, an appellation he got from his role as “Chief Zebrudaya” in a TV comedy series, New Masquerade (1983-1993).
Chief Chika Okpala a Member of the Federal Republic, Mfr was born 10 June 1950 in Ahoada, Rivers State and is a graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
A veteran in the entertainment industry because of his consistency and contributions, it was in recognition of his impact, he was honoured in 2017 with the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA), presented by MultiChoice through Africa Magic, for lifetime contribution to the development of African cinema.
