Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria’s premier private university, has announced that its newly appointed Registrar, Mr. Ahola Orgeh, will officially assume duties on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
This was contained in a statement signed by Lucky U. Eboho-Onokwe, ANIPR, Deputy Director (Public Relations), Igbinedion University, Okada.
Mr. Orgeh succeeds Friday Benji Bakare, Esq., whose tenure recently ended. He brings extensive administrative experience to his new role, having served as Deputy Registrar at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi; Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State; and Benue State University, Makurdi.
Notably, he previously worked at Igbinedion University as a senior executive in the Registry Division early in his career.
The new Registrar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labour Relations from the University of Ibadan.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (FCAI) and a member of several other professional bodies, including ANUPA, NIM, and CIA.
Mr. Orgeh, who hails from Adim-Akp in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, is warmly welcomed by the University Community, which looks forward to his innovative administrative initiatives that will further elevate the institution’s global standing.
