Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sent warm birthday wishes to the former Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu, as he marks his 68th birthday anniversary.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, Governor Okpebholo described Dr. Odubu as a statesman of exceptional repute whose dedication to the welfare of Edo people remains undeniable.
He extolled the former Deputy Governor’s decades of selfless service, describing him as a symbol of resilience, wisdom, and leadership whose contributions have left lasting imprints on the political landscape of the state and Nigeria at large.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Edo State, I wish Dr. Pius Odubu a very happy birthday. May God Almighty bless him abundantly and grant him more strength to continue his invaluable service to our society,” the Governor stated.
Former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Francis Abumere Okiye, praised Dr. Odubu’s fatherly disposition, large heart, and unwavering commitment to democratic ideals. “Your commitment as a former legislator and Deputy Governor showed your tenacity to bring professionalism and excellence into governance,” Okiye said in his tribute.
